According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a crepe is a very thin and small pancake. As for a pancake still according to Merriam-Webster dictionary, it is a flat cake made of thin batter and cooked on a griddle on both sides.
So in short; a crepe is a very thin pancake that is perfect for a variety of filling or different toppings. And a pancake is a little bit thicker and usually, there is baking powder into the recipe to make them fluffy.
Which one to choose? I like the look of cupcakes, and some artist chefs out there can make amazing cupcakes. What they can do with a little a bit of icing and their art, it’s amazing. Unfortunately, I don’t have that talent and patience. Therefore I make what I do best; tasty muffins with a lot of berries.

Easy. You can make any kind of Polpette, as long as you have enough imagination and you know how to pair ingredients. The sky is the limit! My kids love meatballs, but since I am trying to be a good mom, I am reinventing recipes to make my kids eat more vegetables. So I decided to make meatballs without meat for my kids! LOL
There are many recipes out there that require many steps and honestly, I am not a big fan. I have so many things to do in a day, I really don’t want to break my head over a recipe. Therefore, I am always looking for a way to reinvent a recipe with the simplest steps and very easy to follow. For that reason, I reinvented the banana – oat – chocolate cookies. They are so easy to make, even my kids can make them:)

Gremolata is a recipe that I discovered not too long ago. I was a skeptic because I am not a big fan of Italian parsley, but I really like fresh herbs. I like them so much that in my house I have 2 farms for Areogarden full of fresh herbs. That way I have fresh herbs all year round. That was the best birthday present I ever got! I am not affiliated with Aerogarden what so ever, so my opinion is real. I have them for more than a year and I really like them. I grow fresh salad in it, herbs and even cherry tomatoes.
Mix bananas and oat flakes and you will get very healthy pancakes! The oats bring you a lot of fiber and the bananas are a greats source of vitamins and contain very little fat. I usually serve them with plain yogurt or my homemade ricotta cheese, but this time I served them with my chocolate ganache! Very easy to make and soo good! You cannot go wrong – chocolate and banana is a classic combination.
Gravlax has grown in popularity in North America with all the cooking shows and food blogs. As for myself, I started making my own easy Gravlax appetizer not because of that, but because of my father-in-law and my husband. Back when they were in Russia, they used to eat it very often during the holidays (that and caviar on blinis for breakfast, which was more affordable than you might think). Gravlax became our traditional appetizer. I make it very often, and there will be no exception this Holiday season! 🙂
