How to make a Cinnamon and Maple Syrup Cake

The cinnamon and maple syrup cake is really easy. First pre-heat the oven at 350°F (180°C) and grease a bread loaf pan, 8 x 5 inches. Secondly, put all dry ingredients (cinnamon, flour, baking powder, salt) into a bowl and set aside.

After, put into a mixing bowl the egg, the milk, the maple syrup, and the vegetable oil. Whisk all the ingredients carefully. Now it is time to add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix together all the ingredients vigorously. Lastly, pour the batter into the greased bread pan and add the topping on top. Cook the cake into the oven for about 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.

Pour into a bowl the raisins, the oat flakes, and the maple syrup. Mix all the ingredients very carefully, making sure that all the oats are covered with the maple syrup.

  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
